Who we are and how to contact us
Ace of Spade is an information site for adults in the UK. We research who owns casino brands, which brands appear to sit in the same operator group, and what readers should check before relying on a sister-site claim.
The current site build does not publish a separate legal entity, postal address, company number, ICO registration reference, privacy email address or contact form. We therefore refer to the site as Ace of Spade in this policy. The missing privacy contact route should be added before launch.
What this policy covers
This policy covers your use of the Ace of Spade website only. It does not cover casinos, regulators, support charities, company registers or any other third-party website linked from our pages. Those sites are separate controllers for the data they collect.
Ace of Spade is not a casino. We do not create player accounts, take deposits, process withdrawals, set gambling limits or access your casino account. If you click through to a gambling operator, the operator's own privacy policy and cookie controls apply from that point.
What we collect and why
When you visit a page, the site host may process technical request data needed to serve the page and keep the service secure. That may include your IP address, browser and device information, the page requested, the time of the request, referrer information and error data. The purpose is site delivery, security, abuse prevention and troubleshooting. The lawful basis is legitimate interests in running a secure informational website.
When you use the site search, the search term is matched in your browser against a small page list. The current code does not send that query to a server, store it in browser storage or attach it to an account. The purpose is navigation. Where a search term could be personal data, the lawful basis is legitimate interests in helping you find site pages.
When you click an external link, your browser leaves Ace of Spade and requests the destination page. The destination site may receive request data such as your IP address, browser details and referrer information, and it may set its own cookies. Ace of Spade does not receive your casino account data from those sites.
The current build does not include account registration, comments, newsletter sign-up, reader ratings, user profiles, payment processing or a contact form. Those features would need separate privacy wording before they go live.
Cookies and similar technologies
The current site code does not set or read cookies, and no analytics or advertising tag scripts were found in the active pages. We also found no use of localStorage, sessionStorage, IndexedDB or a service worker for visitor tracking.
No cookie banner is present in the current build. Based on the code inspected, there is no analytics or tag script loading before consent. Analytics, advertising, affiliate tracking or preference cookies would need a separate consent decision before launch.
You can also control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect third-party websites you visit from Ace of Spade, but the current Ace of Spade build does not rely on cookies for reading pages.
Affiliate links and third parties
The current active pages do not show a tracked affiliate redirect path such as a /go/ link, sponsored link attribute, UTM tracking link or casino click tracker. Existing site copy says Ace of Spade may receive commission if commercial links are used in a live version, but the owner still needs to confirm the final disclosure before launch.
If a commercial casino link is added later, the destination operator may set its own cookies and collect its own data once you click. Ace of Spade should not have access to your deposit history, verification documents, balance, withdrawals, account limits or gambling activity unless a third party separately provides information to the site owner.
The processors and service providers identified from this build are hosting-related. The project uses OpenAI Sites tooling and a Cloudflare Worker-compatible runtime. You can read the OpenAI privacy policy and the Cloudflare privacy policy. External support, regulator and source links are separate third-party websites, not embedded services on this page.
How long we keep it
Ace of Spade does not declare a visitor database or file bucket in the current hosting configuration, and the active pages do not store search queries. We therefore do not set a site-level retention period for account, newsletter, comment or rating data because those features are not present.
Hosting and security logs may be kept by the hosting provider for operational, security and abuse-prevention purposes. The exact retention period is not published in this repository and should be confirmed with the hosting account owner.
If a contact route is added later, correspondence should be kept only as long as needed to answer the request, maintain an audit trail for corrections or rights requests, and meet legal obligations. The exact period is not yet defined in the current build.
International transfers
Hosting and platform providers may process technical data outside the UK. The current repository does not publish the hosting account's regional settings or transfer safeguards, so this should be confirmed with the site owner before launch.
Where OpenAI Sites or Cloudflare process data outside the UK, their own privacy materials describe their transfer approach and safeguards. Ace of Spade should keep a current record of the host and any analytics, form or email providers added later.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, you may have the right to access personal data held about you, correct it, ask for it to be erased, restrict processing, receive a portable copy, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and withdraw consent where processing relies on consent.
Because the current build does not publish a dedicated privacy contact route, a proper rights-request route should be added before launch. If you believe Ace of Spade holds personal data about you, use the contact route published on the site when it is added and describe the right you want to exercise.
You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office. Use the ICO's make a complaint page if you are not satisfied with how a data matter is handled.
Children
Ace of Spade is written for adults aged 18 or over. The site does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If the owner learns that personal data has been provided by a child, it should be deleted where possible and not used for marketing or profiling.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the site changes, including if analytics, affiliate redirects, forms, newsletters, comments, account features or new hosting providers are added.
Contact
The current site build does not publish a privacy email address, postal address or contact form. That is a launch gap. Until a dedicated route is added, corrections and editorial handling should be managed by the site owner before publication.
